Entertaiment is the act of entertaining or being entertained, and encompasses a wide variety of activities such as watching movies or TV, reading books or magazines, listening to music, playing sports or video games, and attending live performances like theater or dance. Some forms of entertainment can also be considered art, such as painting or sculpture. Entertaiment can be used for amusement or enjoyment, but may also have a more serious purpose, such as in ceremonies, religious festivals, and satire.
